About
You are not alone
“You Are Not Alone” is a supportive online space where youth, especially racialized youth, can feel seen and heard. Through real stories and advice from adults who have overcome mental health challenges, the platform offers encouragement and connection.
Our goal is to create a safe, relatable community where young people realize they are not alone and can find the strength to keep going.

Individual therapy is good for racialized youth because it provides a private space to speak openly about experiences such as racism and personal struggles. It offers support that is tailored to each individual’s needs. This helps build self understanding and develop healthy coping strategies.
Group therapy is good because it connects youth with others who share similar experiences. It reduces feelings of isolation and helps youth feel understood. It also builds a sense of community and allows participants to learn from one another.
Family therapy is good because it improves communication and understanding within the household. For racialized youth, cultural and generational differences can sometimes create challenges, and this setting helps address them together. It can lead to a more supportive and stable home environment.
